Cumbuco is a small laid back fishing village, 30km away from the 5th biggest city in Brazil - Fortaleza. After a short 45 minute's drive from the International Airport Pinto Martins, you will arrive in our small cosy town. Cumbuco got to known in the last few years at one of the best kitesurfing spots worldwide. Most call it the Kite Capitol of the World. Beside that it is always nice weather here with temperatures of 32°C during the day and 27°C water temperature. You can swim and kite comfortably without any wet suits.
Cumbuco is also a great honeymoon destination and couples have a great time in our apartment hotel.
Ocean View is a small and friendly hotel style condominium consisting of 24 apartments in 4 apartment blocks. The hotel style accommodation complex is located directly at the beach, perfect for sunbathing or kitesurfing. A short 7 minute's walk and you arrive at the center of Cumbuco. There are supermarkets open until late 7 days per week. There you can find everything you need to prepare your own breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Lot's of restaurants and bars for all budgets have been established over the years. Craft stores, cloth shops, bottle shops, vegie markets and 2 pharmacies compliment them around the city square. Buses drive on an half hourly schedule to Caucaia (the Province town) or to Fortaleza (the Capitol of the State of Ceara).
Enjoy a short walk to the dunes, sip on a glass of wine and enjoy the great colorful sunsets.
